As you can see, the new site is finally up and running, instructions enclosed!
I've finally got round to a big redesign and ugprade of my website.
Hopefully this media rich site will expand with video, photo galleries
and anything else that's interesting.
There is no easy way to build a website these days, people expect lots of features and design. Now couple that with the fact that I'm in the business of making things look good and I knew I had to have a good site. That's why it's taken quite a lot of effort to get this finalised.
I hope that this site builds into a resource that not only publicises my work, but acts a reference and resource for editors everywhere. Things start small and although my previous website didn't look much, it had a large amount of hits and was ranked number one in Google searches in multiple categories.
Let me quickly run you though some of the new features-
Wikipedia links. Whenever you see a word highlighted like Wikipedia, there will be an automatic link to the entry within Wikipedia. Very handy for getting to know jargon & buzzwords.
Smooth Gallery. This is a picture gallery that lets you scroll through pictures & thumbnails without having to reload the page everytime.
Comments. Yes, leave some feedback with the Ajax based comment system. No, not something that gets your whites clean but a realtime comment system without having to reload the page.
Video Player. I've installed a player that handles Youtube right the way through nearly every media to Quicktime. Not only will I put up examples of my work, but also anything else worth watching.
So there you go, please visit often as one of the joys of having a dynamic website means I can add content without having to dig deep into HTML.
